The SS Ayrfield is a disused ship that was due to be scrapped in 1972. However, due to a change in regulations, the ship was saved and is now a floating forest. The Ayrfield is located in Homebush Bay in Sydney, Australia.

The Ayrfield was built in 1911 in Glasgow, Scotland. She was originally used as a cargo ship to transport wool from Australia to England. The Ayrfield was later used as a troop ship in World War II and transported Australian and American troops to the Middle East and Europe. After the war, she was used as a migrant ship to transport British migrants to Australia.

The Ayrfield was retired from service in 1972 and was due to be scrapped. However, due to a change in regulations, the ship was saved and is now a floating forest. The Ayrfield is located in Homebush Bay in Sydney, Australia.
