Can an ordinary meal be turned into a work of art? A Japanese woman is currently making waves on social media for her amazing fried egg art. One of the most effective ways to motivate children to eat a healthy diet is to capture their interest first. In Japan, there is something called kyaraben (short for bento), where boxed lunch is designed to be as eye-catching as possible. Animal-shaped rice balls, vegetables in the form of flowers or hearts, and owl-shaped sausages. These are just some of the common examples of Kyaraben art.
Kyaraben has been widely used by many Japanese mothers as a way to motivate their children to eat boxed lunch at school. Furthermore, the craft itself has allowed artistic mothers to unleash their creativity. Every mother has her own unique kyraben style to suit the needs of their children. But one particular Japanese mother has taken this craft to another level with her excellent fried egg art.
